10:30 AM The Nature of Cranial Rhythmic Movements – An Experimental Study
Presenter: Thomas Rasmussen, PhD, MSC, CST-D

This study explores the rate, amplitude and symmetry of rhythmic oscillations in the human living cranium. The rhythmic oscillations simultaneous measured directly as a mechanical movement included the arterial, respiratory and what have been reported as the craniosacral rhythm (CSR) or cranial rhythmic impulse (CRI).

11:30 AM When the Rhythm Stops
Presenter: Thomas Rasmussen, PhD, MSC, CST-D

In Upledger's CranioSacral Therapy there are two essential phenomena in relation to the craniosacral rhythm (CSR) where the rhythm stops. Get new perspectives on your experiences of still points. Build on your foundation on how to work with still points, and see how still points change the physiology.

2:30 PM Is CranioSacral Therapy an Evidence-Based Treatment for Trauma?
Presenter: Karen Axelrod, MA, CMT, CST-D

This presentation focuses on recent studies in brain anatomy and neuroscience as they relate to techniques utilized in Upledger's SomatoEmotional Release. Today, scientific investigations confirm how and why many of these concepts work in the therapeutic setting.

3:45 PM Trauma: Transformation and Research through Upledger Intensive Therapy Programs
Presenters: Chas Perry, PhD, CST-D, Caroline Barrow, CST-D, Mariann Sisco, PT, CST-D

The Intensive Programs of the Upledger Institute have been providing unique, multi-disciplinary treatment programs for more than 30 years. 10:10 AM Ancestral and Genetic Influence on SomatoEmotional Release
Presenter: Susan Steiner, OTR/L, CST-D

There is research with epigenetics that shows trauma is actually passed through generations through the biology. The latest research on this topic will be presented, along with a review of Therapeutic Imagery and Dialogue ideas and actual sessions that address ancestral patterns.

11:30 AM Mouth Work Practice Protocol
Presenter: Hank Meldrum, PT, OMT, CST-D

Boost your confidence and skills with tools provided to treat osseous structures from within the mouth, and familiarize yourself with methods and manual applications to treat the mouth.

2:00 PM Making the Most of your Unconscious Mind and Intuition
Presenter: James L. Oschman, PhD

Unconscious processes and intuition help all therapists, whether they realize it or not. But just exactly what are these processes, and how can we make the most of them? We look at the communication systems that are faster than nerve impulses and the roles they play in the unconscious mind and intuition.
