Therapeutic Imagery & DialogueSM Workshop Set For February In Palm Beach
|
PALM BEACH -- From the intracellular to the interpersonal, communication is the essence of all human interaction. Healthcare professionals can enhance their understanding of language as a therapeutic agent at the Therapeutic Imagery & Dialoguesm I (TIDI) workshop Feb. 13 - 15, 1998 at The Jupiter Beach Resort in Palm Beach, Fla. area.
Russell A. Bourne, Jr., Ph.D., is the instructor and workshop developer of this three-day course. Dr. Bourne is the chief of staff of The UI Institute, Inc. HealthPlex Clinical Service in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Internationally recognized for his work in psychotherapy and hypnosis, he is a frequent presenter of scholarly, research and clinical papers at conference worldwide.
Communication occurs everyday in all manner of circumstances, some that encourage health and others that are counterproductive. Those familiar with "inner work" will find this course to be of immediate value in their practice as they begin an exploration of body-mind-spirit reunion certain to bring new understanding and effectiveness to their work.
In the course, participants will study and practice specific intervention techniques to enhance their dialoguing skills. They will be taught methods to utilize the unconscious process for health, healing and recovery. Skills development with figurative language, imagery and metaphor will be covered as well. Participants receive a comprehensive study guide of the course material.
