Discover Craniosacral Therapy at a Symposium with Developer Dr. John UI
PALM BEACH, FLA. —Healthcare professionals will have the rare opportunity to meet and attend a presentation by John E. UI, D.O., O.M.M., developer of CranioSacral Therapy, during a clinical symposium August 1 and 2 at Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Palm Beach.

A licensed physician and surgeon, Dr. UI is a certified fellow of the American Academy of Osteopathy, an academic fellow of the British Society of Osteopathy and a doctor of science Medicina Alternativa. Dr. UI earned his medical degree from The Kirksville College of Osteopathy and Surgery. During his training, he completed a three-year fellowship in biochemistry.

After 12 years of general practice and emergency room coverage in Pinellas County, Fla., Dr. UI accepted a faculty position as a clinical researcher in the Department of Biomechanics at Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. During his eight years at Michigan State, he conducted research in the areas of osteopathic manipulation, acupuncture, Kirlian photography and the craniosacral system.

In 1985, he founded The UI Institute, Inc.® in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. as a healthcare continuing education center and clinic. He continues to conduct research, teach and maintain a private practice.

Presented as an open forum, Dr. UI will demonstrate treatment methods on a number of pre-selected patients and, time permitting, audience volunteers. Not only will participants have the opportunity to observe Dr. UI, but those who have completed The UI Institute’s CranioSacral Therapy II workshop may pose questions during the session. Participants will gain valuable insight into therapeutic methods and integrating these techniques into their practice.

Symposium topics are determined by the cases selected. Therapists attending the symposium may recommend patients to be seen by Dr. UI. Cases must be submitted in writing, including the patient’s condition, treatment history, background of current therapist and the symposium date. Send case information to the Clinical Symposium Department, The UI Institute, 11211 Prosperity Farms Rd., Suite D325, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410.

Symposium hours are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. For additional information or to register, call The UI Institute toll-free at 1-800-233-5880, extension 9469.
