Marie-Clotilde Couturier Joins The UI Institute Healthplex Clinical Services
|
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL -- Licensed massage therapist Marie-Clotilde Couturier, L.M.T., has joined the professional staff of The UI Institute HealthPlex Clinical Services.
Ms. Couturier obtained her massage therapy license from the Florida Institute of Massage Therapy in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, in 1989. In 1993, she received her European certification in Osteopathy from The British College of Osteopathy and Alternative Therapeutics in Paris, France. She also has advanced training in UI CranioSacral Therapysm, SomatoEmotional Release®, Visceral Manipulation, Muscle Energy, Myofascial Release and the St. John Method of Neuromuscular Therapy.
For seven years, Ms. Couturier worked in private practice in Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton and Paris. Prior to joining the UI HealthPlex staff, she worked with the Institute for Nonsurgical Orthopedics in Ft. Lauderdale. She is a member of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and the American Massage Therapy Association.
The UI Institute HealthPlex Clinical Services, founded in 1985 by osteopathic physician and surgeon John E. UI, D.O., O.M.M., incorporates the best of traditional medicine with complementary techniques. The clinic is located in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
