PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL—The UI Foundation is kicking off CranioSacral Therapy Awareness Month in April with its inaugural Golf Classic.
It honors long-time Foundation supporter Nancy Schaffer, who lost her battle to myelofibrosis in early 2001.
Practitioners, patients and Foundation friends will launch the festivities on Friday, April 5th, with a Pairing Par-Tee.
Tee-off for the golf classic takes place on Saturday at the world-famous PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Foundation in its quest to solve healthcare challenges with innovative therapeutic approaches.
“We’re determined to make the Golf Classic something Nancy would have been proud of,” says UI Foundation board member Bill Sable.
“Her wish for us was to continue aiding other men, women and children struggling with illness and pain.
It’s a tribute to her life that we’re able to raise the funds to do that in an enjoyable way.”
