The UI Foundation Names Presenter for the
1999 Beyond the Dura Research Conference
|
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLA. -- Valerie V. Hunt, Ph.D., internationally known for her pioneering research of human energy fields, will be the keynote speaker at Beyond the Dura '99, a biennial research conference sponsored by The UI Foundation (UF). The conference will be held April 28 - May 2, 1999, in the Palm Beach, Fla. area at The Jupiter Beach Resort.
Credited as the first to measure vibration patterns during pain, disease and illness, Dr. Hunt found scientific evidence of individualized field signatures and subtle energetic occurrences between people and groups. Her findings and human energy field model based on 25 years of research are outlined in her book Infinite Mind: Science of the Human Vibrations of Consciousness.
Dr. Hunt holds advanced degrees in psychology and physiological science from Columbia University, and has been a professor at Columbia University, the University of Iowa and the University of California at Los Angeles. She is a respected lecturer whose ideas reflect her rich background as a scientist, clinician and philosopher.
More than 250 researchers and practitioners are expected to attend Beyond the Dura to share and explore the latest research in CranioSacral Therapy and other allied healthcare modalities. The conference will feature thought-provoking presentations, demonstrations and panel discussions led by experts in their respective fields. Conference participants also will have opportunities to network with practitioners from around the world.

The non-profit UI Foundation is committed to the development of new therapeutic applications and community outreach programs designed to enhance health and well-being.
