Top 4 Travel Tips from Paula:

1. Always re-confirm your flights 24 hours prior to each departure directly with the airline. There may have been airline schedule changes.
2. Pack a savvy carry-on. Check with the airline to get a list of items that are currently banned from your carry-on bag, as these items change periodically. Make sure to include your medications and a change of clothes, just in case your luggage is lost or delayed. Any liquids need to be no more than 3 oz and placed in a quart-sized zip lock bag. Continue to check the Travel Safety Alliance rules as these may change.
3. Make sure to adhere to airline baggage regulations: Amount of pieces, sizes and weights as airline are enforcing fees for overages.
4. While traveling, if an emergency arises, during business hours, you may contact me at 561.625.5951. On your itinerary, there is an 800 # for emergencies if after hours. Please use as a last resort as there are fees for using this service.

The Upledger Institute Instructor Travel Policy:

Each instructor is responsible for scheduling their travel through Travel Concierge. To ensure the best selection and best possible fare, instructors must call TC 45 days in advance for domestic travel. For international travel, please contact TC 90 to 120 days in advance.

Travel Concierge will automatically issue a ticket 30 days in advance if you haven’t contacted them. The standard procedure will have you departing the night before the workshop and returning the last night of the workshop. It is the instructor’s responsibility to get in touch with TC. If the ticket is not to your preference, the instructor will be responsible for any penalties and fees.

Frequent flying miles earned while traveling for UI are the property of the instructor. If you choose to drive to a workshop, UI will pay for your mileage or the cost of airline ticket, whichever is less. TC is not responsible for Frequent Flyer numbers. It is passenger responsibility to verify Frequent Flyer numbers. Frequent Flyer numbers are on your itineraries.

All instructors should have a valid passport. This is mandatory for travel anywhere outside of the US.
