Behice Kutay was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. There she studied economics but moved to the US to study marine biology in 1982. Early in her stay here, she received training as a massage therapist, then taught various classes for massage therapy in Austin and around Texas for more than ten years. Some of her training in manual therapy includes Advanced CranioSacral Therapy, Advanced Visceral Manipulation, Advanced Lymph Drainage Therapy. She was tapped to be an instructor for the LDT program in 2000. As a Certified LDT instructor she has taught LDT I classes in the US, Canada and Singapore. She maintains a private practice in Austin, Texas where she specializes in manual therapy modalities for lymphedema as well as advanced CST for pediatrics and LEAP (Learning Enhancement Advance Program).
