Charles Gilliam is a licensed massage therapist and a diplomate in CranioSacral Therapy. He has been teaching CranioSacral Therapy for The Upledger Institute since 1986. He has been teaching Zero Balancing since 1989. He has a third degree black belt in the martial art, Aikido. He has a masters degree in Biomechanics from the University of Maryland.

Charles has private practices in Shutesbury and Barre Massachusetts. He works with children and adults. He utilizes a blend of CranioSacral Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release, Zero Balancing and Visceral Manipulation in his practice. He has also studied with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, developer of Body-Mind Centering, and uses much of her work on the developmental processes in children. One of his goals in teaching and in practice is to hold a sacred space for individuals to learn and grow in their awareness of themselves and others.

He lives in Shutesbury, MA with his wife, Rebecca(chiropractor and CranioSacral Therapist) and his two young boys, Gabriel and Raphael.
